New Class : Japanese Beef and Pork
This class covers the ever popular Tonkatsu (deep-fried crumbled pork chop), Niku-jaga (beef and vegtable stew - voted as the no. 1 favourite home-cooked dish by Japanese men ) and Japanese Hamburger. 

Japanese Favourites
                   
This class covers some of the most popular Japanese dishes to Australians including miso soup, gyoza (pan fried pork dumpling), teriyaki chicken and spinach with sesame dressing.

To follow-up the popularity of Japanese Favourites, this class covers other popular Japanese dishes  including okonomiyaki (thick savoury pancake with cabbage and various ingredients, topped with HP-liked sauce and mayo), nasu dengaku (eggplant topped with sweet miso paste), agedashi tofu (deep-fried tofu in broth) and more.


Chicken and Fish - the Light Japanese Way

In this class we will explore the traditional Japanese method of simmering and grilling chicken and fish. You will be amazed how little oil is required and yet the result is hearty and satisfying. Dishes include chikuzen ni (simmered chicken with root vegetables), yuan yaki (grilled ocean trout with citrus soy sauce) and more.
      
Sushi Making                                             
  
A very hands-on class to boost your confidence in making sushi rolls. You will learn the technique of preparing inari sushi from scratch and a variety of nori rolls with multiple filling combinations.  We will start from the basics including an introduction to the ingredients, utensils and sushi rice preparation.  There will be versions suitable for non-raw fish eaters.


The Tofu Lover (vegetarian)      
             
Learn innovative ways in cooking and preparing tofu: from using it a cold dish, as a "salad" dressing to turning it into a fulfilling "steak" and a dessert treat.  


 

Legend- (vegetarian) : These classes are suitable for vegetarians; no meat or animal products used whatsoever. Ideal for the health conscious.
